Guard mount w/bolt 2.750 height

Features:

  • Guard mount installs between filter mounting band and filter. (6) per guard recommended for guards 48" or less in length..
  • Guard mount can also be installed between the adjustable guard strap and DPF. (DESUNIV1004 and DESUNIV1005 purchased seperately) for "active " filter systems
  • Provides 2-3/4" of distance between guard and filter
  • Constructed from 304 stainless steel.
  • Includes 5/16 zinc plated washer head bolt and non marring nylon washer.

Installation:

  1. When installing the guard mounts between the band and filter body, ensure the guard clips are aligned to center line of filter body.
  2. Guard mounts should be spaced as evenly as possible across the surface of the guard.
  3. When installing the guard mounts do not use less than (6) per guard for guards up to 55" in length and not less than (9) per guard for sizes larger than 55".
  4. Guard mounts should only be used on filter sections of equal diameter, FAILURE TO DO SO MAY CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE GUARD OR GUARD MOUNT.
